
MPCA HONORS AND AWARDS
The MPCA recognizes and honors dogs for their ability to producae and for their achievements in the conformation and performace rings.
Awards
Dog World Award
Recipient: Nominations are accepted from any MPCA member in good stainding, via letter of recommendation with an explanation of why the particular MPCA member is being nominated. All nominations will be reviewed and voted on by the membership; awards will be presented at the Awards Banquet.
Purpose: The Dog World Award reflects the MPCA's desire to promote and encourage activities that present the positive aspects of the breed, in the area of the sport of pure bred dog showing and breeding. This award is targeted to recognize contribution to the Breed and the MPCA.

AKC Good Sportsmanship Award
Recipient: Nominations are accepted from any MPCA member in good standing, via letter of recommendation with an explanation of why the particular MPCA member is being nominated. All nominations will be reviewed and voted on by the membership; awards will be presented at the Awards Banquet.
Purpose: The AKC Good Sportsmanship Award reflects both the AKC and the MPCA's desire to promote and encourage outstanding sportsmanlike conduct.
Annual AKC Good Sportsmanship Award Winners
Community Service Dog Award
Recipient: Nominations must be made by verifiable documentation which may include, letters of commendation, newspaper clippings, and an explanation of why the particular Miniature Pinscher is being nominated. All nominations will be reviewed and voted on by the membership; awards will be presented at the Awards Banquet. This award is offered to MPCA members' dogs. Primary consideration is given to MPCA members who have unselfishly devoted their time and ability of their Miniature Pinschers to improve their community or to enhance the lives of others.
Purpose: The Community Service Dog Award reflects the MPCA's desire to promote and encourage activities that present the positive aspects of the breed, in the area of community service.

Good Guy Award
Recipient: Nominations will be accepted for the Good Guy Award, from Board members, 30 days prior to the Annual Board Meeting. This award is voted on by the Board.
Purpose: The Good Guy Award reflects the MPCA's desire to promote and encourage outstanding service to the MPCA.

MPCA Honor Roll Sires and Dams (HR)
The Honor Roll recognizes dogs that have sired at least eleven (11) champions and bitches that have produced at least six (6) champions. The owners of these miniature pinschers are given a certificate designating the dog/bitch achievement. After that, the total champions are adjusted and printed in the awards program each year.
This award is based on the total number of champions produced by sires and dams over the dog's lifetime. Although the awards are awarded and updated annually, they are cumulative, differing from other MPCA awards.
List of Honor Roll Sires and Dams
MPCA Hall of Fame Sires & Dams (ROM)
To qualify for the Hall of Fame, a dog must have sired twenty (20) champions, and a bitch must be the dam of eight (8) champions. These Hall of Fame members represent less than 2% of all miniature pinschers who have ever produced at least one champion. The first year a sire or dam qualifies for the Hall of Fame, he/she is presented with a plaque and listed in the awards program as an addition to the Hall of Fame. After that, the total champions are adjusted and printed in the awards program each year in chronological order of number of champions produced. These sires and dams are also entitled to the Record of Merit (ROM) title after their name.

Best In Show Award
The MPCA awards a plaque to honor Miniature Pinschers who have received a Best in Show. This award is presented at the annual
awards banquet and is given on a per year basis (January thru December) to dogs owned by MPCA members. The AKC results
will be used to verify the Best in Show. Members are required to complete and submit the MPCA BIS Award Form.
The form MUST
BE SUBMITTED to the MPCA Treasurer, Judy Stout-Reynolds, by February 1st of each year.
MPCA Triple Crown Award
The goal of the MPCA Triple Crown Award is to promote the human/dog relationship, bond in the Miniature Pinscher breed.
Requirements for the Triple Crown Award: 3 AKC Titles of either Option A or Option B (see form). The last title of the Triple Crown must be achieved within the past year of the award year in which it is to be presented. The Triple Crown Award can be presented multiple times but each time the award is given, different titles must be used and earned in the current year.
The form MUST BE SUBMITTED to the MPCA Triple Crown Statistician, Sue Krom, by February 1st of each year to be presented for the preceding year.

New champion quarterly statistics are provided by Christine Smith. Dogs listed with the owner's name and are either bred, owned or co-owned by an MPCA member.
